I am Abdurrahman Abimbola Adenowo, a graduate of Electronic and Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering. My journey through LASU was, honestly, a bit boring, nothing in particular stands out as a defining moment, but I got through it all the same.
I served as General Secretary of the Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, LASU Epe Branch, one of the more notable parts of my time on campus. I didn't face any major challenges along the way, and nothing stands out as a proudest achievement in particular, my time here was fairly steady from start to finish.
The biggest thing I picked up wasn't so much a lesson as it was the people I met along the way, and the importance of relationships, in one word, that's what stayed with me. I don't recall receiving any specific awards or scholarships during my time here.
I'm still figuring out exactly what comes next, my plans are still taking shape.
My advice to current and incoming students is simple: be intentional about whatever you choose to do. As I remind myself often: everything is going to be alright.
