I am Labisi Azeezat Olawunmi, a graduate of Transport Technology and Infrastructure in the School of Transport and Logistics. My journey through LASU was a little eventful, filled with its own share of ups and downs.
I'm not sure if it counts as an achievement, but managing to maintain my CGPA after having a carryover, and almost failing the same course again the next semester, is what I'm proudest of. I didn't hold any leadership roles during my time on campus.
Some courses were simply a pain, and even after working harder the following semester, I still almost failed again, but we thank God either way. Nothing in particular stands out as a defining lesson just yet, some things take time to fully sink in.
My parents have been my biggest source of inspiration throughout this journey.
My advice to current and incoming students: just do your best and leave the rest for God. My plans going forward point toward the aviation industry, maybe as a pilot or a flight dispatcher, and as for who I am, I'm honestly still undergoing self-discovery.
